Abstract:
Soft computing is a collection of methodologies, which employ tolerance for imprecision, uncertainty and partial truth to achieve tractability, robustness, and low solution cost. The core subjects of soft computing are fuzzy computing, neuro-computing, genetic computing and probabilistic computing. The topics in this session are focused on the applications of soft computing in the areas of production, manufacturing and design. Submissions of research papers, with applications in the following areas, are invited:
